Cardinal Roche meets the clergy of the archdiocese of Łódź to discuss ongoing formation

An ongoing formation session of the Archdiocese of Łódź was held from 27-30 November 2023 in the auditorium of the Major Seminary.

These formation meetings are held twice a year, in autumn and spring, and are aimed at diocesan and religious priests serving in the Archdiocese of Łódź.

This year's theme was the Church's liturgy. The Prefect of the Dicastery for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, Cardinal Arthur Roche, spoke on this subject, emphasising that the liturgy should not be the exclusive property of the clergy, but rather a treasure of the Church that must be guarded and treated with respect by the entire celebrating community.

During the meetings Card. Roche sought to raise awareness among the priests and seminarians about various celebratory aspects of the liturgy, including liturgical reform, the liturgy as a decisive means of evangelisation, formation and liturgical participation.
