"Ad limina Apostolorum" visit of the Episcopal Conference of Mali

On the morning of 12 November, 2024, a meeting of the Bishops of the Episcopal Conference of Mali was held at the headquarters of the Dicastery for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments on the occasion of their “ad limina” visit.

In fraternal dialogue, the Bishops spoke of the importance of translating the Bible in view of the preparation of liturgical texts in vernacular languages and their subsequent publication and entry into use. Subsequently, the conversation focused on various formative aspects, especially on preparation for the Sacraments of Christian Initiation and Marriage. Finally, some questions regarding the national liturgical calendar and that of the individual dioceses were explored in depth.
