New edition of the Course on the Internal Forum of the Apostolic Penitentiary

The 24th edition of the Course on the Internal Forum, organised by the Apostolic Penitentiary and held at the Basilica of San Lorenzo in Damaso, took place from Monday 4 to Friday 8 March 2024.

The annual course aims to offer new priests and candidates approaching Holy Orders an opportunity for reflection and in-depth formation on the Sacrament of Penance. 

Among the speakers was Archbishop. Vittorio Francesco Viola, OFM, Secretary of the Dicastery for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, who in his talk on Thursday, 7 March, reflected on the liturgical/pastoral aspects of the Sacrament.
