Ad Limina Visit of the Bishops of Abruzzo and Molise

On Thursday, 4 April 2024, the Conferenza Episcopale Abruzzese-Molisana (CEAM), present at the Vatican for the 'ad limina Apostolorum' visit, was received at the Dicastery for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments.

The meeting, which took place on the eve of the 15th anniversary of the earthquake that devastated the regions of Central Italy between 5 and 6 April 2009, and in particular L'Aquila and its surrounding municipalities, was an opportunity to take stock of the situation regarding the liturgical life of the respective dioceses from a religious, social and cultural perspective.
