Ad Limina Visit of Umbrian Episcopal Conference

On the morning of Wednesday, 20 March 2024, the Bishops' Conference of Umbria, present at the Vatican for the 'ad limina Apostolorum' visit, was received at the Dicastery for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments.

During the meeting with the Prefect, Cardinal Arthur Roche, and the Undersecretary, Monsignor Krzysztof Marcjanowicz, the six Umbrian bishops addressed the topic of the liturgy and its meaning in life, calling for a more participatory liturgical life that could combat the growing decline in participation in liturgical rites.
