Visit of the Prefect to Sri Lanka

From September 5 to 7, 2025, at the National Seminary of Our Lady of Lanka in Ampitiya, Kandy, the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Sri Lanka, with the participation of priests, religious, and lay faithful, held the National Liturgy Symposium 2025.

This gathering took place within the broader context of the XVI Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops, reflecting on the theme: "Eucharist, Fountain of Synodality through Communion".
The event was a meaningful moment of communion for the local Church, which renewed its Eucharistic life and its mission of journeying together in attentive listening to the Holy Spirit.

During the meeting, the Cardinal Prefect delivered an address on the theme “Eucharist and Synodality.”
